Namibia is ready with their squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2024.
Namibia is entering the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup under the captaincy of a talented player – Gerhard Erasmus. The all-rounder is leading the team and looking forward to leaving a mark in international T20I cricket.
Erasmus is a promising captain who can lead the team to improve their experience and pace from their performance in the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup Africa Qualifier, where Namibia was undefeated on home soil.
JJ Smit is assisting Erasmus as a Vice-Captain. This duo looks promising and is expected to bring out some great news for the team in the upcoming World Cup.
12 players out of a total of 15 presented exceptional performances in the qualifiers and managed to enter the squad.
All-rounder Nicol Loftie-Eaton is not a part of the squad, who holds the record for scoring the fastest T20I century in men’s international cricket. Nicol scored a century in just 33 balls against Nepal.
