Chamari Athapaththu - ICC Women’s No.1 Batter in ODI Ranking

Chamari is now the world’s number-one ODI batswoman.

Following the 2024 Sri Lanka Women's Tour of South Africa final, Chamari accomplished her goal. There has never been a higher chasing score in Women's One-Day Internationals than Chamari's (195*) runs, which ranks third all-time.

Eventually, Sri Lanka won the final match in Potchefstroom on 17 April.

Chamari’s knock was special, it broke multiple records. It became the second-highest individual score in an ODI’s second innings across Men’s and Women’s cricket. The first one is registered by Glenn Maxwell. The Australian batter scored (201*) against Afghanistan at World Cup 2023.
