Even after having a huge difference in the Big Bash T20 rankings against Perth Scorchers, the Adelaide Strikers came out victorious because of sharp bowling and smart batting.
Adelaide Strikers needed to chase the target of (154) runs and Player of the Match, Matthew Short’s impressive performance of (76) runs in (51) bowls holds major credit. Supported by Chris Lynn with a score of (50) in (33) bowls, the batsmen chased the target in the loss of just one wicket.
Batting and the bowling of Adelaide Strikers gave a similar and great performance. We were anticipating a good performance from the fast bowlers as per the pitch report in the last prediction.
Pacers like Henry Thornton were able to take a wicket of Zak Crawley in the (2.4) over. Whereas, the left-arm-fast-medium, David Payne, spread the magic in the last over of the innings by taking two wickets.
