Can world number no.1 - Novak Djokovic present his skills and take the victory or Etcheverry will take the victory?
All of Djokovic's top four competitors have at least one victory against him in 2023, and they must be seeing an opportunity to challenge his supremacy at the top after seeing his performances at the Australian Open.
Djokovic's wrist injury and current health difficulties became clear when he lost a set to adolescent Dino Prizmic in the first round. These concerns were heightened in the second round when he dropped another set and was on the verge of losing two sets to one against Alexei Popyrin.
Novak Djokovic currently leads (2-0) both in 2023. At present, Tomas Martin Etcheverry appears to be better at capitalizing on opportunities than Dino Prizmic and Alexei Popyrin.
However, it is worth noting that Djokovic had an extra day to recover following the second round, and as a result, he is expected to be in much better shape and secure a (3-0) record (in the head-to-head series) versus the Argentine.
