Mumbai Indians is Eliminated from Indian Premier League 2024

One of the worst years for the team, Mumbai Indians is eliminated from the league after Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Lucknow Super Giants.

Bad news for all the MI followers! Mumbai Indians have been eliminated from the Indian Premier League 2024 in the aftermath of SRH vs LSG at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.

It has been the worst year for the 5-times winner of the IPL. MI’s performance has not been quite satisfactory to secure a safe place in the league. The team has played 12 matches and has been able to win only 4 of them.

Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and decided to bat first.

With average batting performance, LSG had to settle for 165/4. Considering their previous records, chasing 166 runs in 20 overs was quite an easy task for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, both have truly made their mark in the IPL 2024. No one can beat them when it comes to opening for the team. They have made chasing target scores a cup of tea.

With hard-hitting batting, the duo led SRH to win by 10 wickets in just 9.4 overs. Incredible!

LSG’s defeat was the reason why MI had to depart from the tournament.
