India is still indispensable. In the recent against the USA, another strong team of Group A, India registered a win and qualified for the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup.

In the latest contest of the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2024, India confronted the United States of America and won the match by 7 wickets. With this win, India officially enters the Super 8 of the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Arshdeep Singh, the player of the match, showcased an incredible bowling spell. Right on the first delivery, Arshdeep dismissed Shayan Jahangir. Batsman didn’t even bother to take a review; it was bound to happen!

Giving away just 9 runs, Arshdeep took 4 wickets in 4 overs at the economy rate of 2.20.

The US could not confront India’s bowling and failed to add a satisfactory target score to chase. At the loss of 8 wickets, the US could only score 110 runs. Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel took 2 and 1 wicket respectively.

Jasprit Bumrah could open his wicket score this time!

Though India has won the qualifying match, but USA gave a tough fight! Just like Arshdeep took a wicket in the first over, Saurabh Netravalkar did the same. He threw a full delivery angled across the right-hander, Virat Kohli tried to duck it away, but the ball touched the outside edge and landed right in the hands of wicketkeeper, Andries Gous.

Kohli was gone for a golden duck! Soon in the third over, Rohit Sharma had to go back to the pavilion.

It was Suryakumar Yadav who balanced the trembling boat for India. The ICC No.1 batsman, Suryakumar scored much-needed 50* runs off 49 balls. Shivam Dube became a good assistant, the promising Dube scored 31* runs off 35 balls.

In the end, India won the match by 7 wickets in the 18.2 overs.
