Cristiano Ronaldo has made a career out of shattering records, but no one would have imagined CR7 to break records on YouTube. The Portuguese superstar announced the launch of his official YouTube channel, UR Cristiano, about 19 hours ago.
UR Cristiano has already broken several records, which were held by popular YouTube creators. In just 90 minutes, Ronaldo’s channel had already amassed a million followers. The previous record took seven hours to reach that figure. However, Cristiano wasn’t done breaking records. His channel quickly gained traction and within 12 hours, UR Cristiano had 10 million subscribers. The previous record was held by Jimmy Donaldson A.K.A. Mr. Beast, who reached 10 million subscribers after 132 days. Ronaldo stunning announcement has completely shattered longstanding YouTube records.
In less than a day, Cristiano Ronaldo already has a Golden Play button. He even shared a video of unveiling the Play Button in front of his kids. At the moment, UR Cristiano channel has already amassed 16.3 million “siuuubscribers.” In a teaser for his channel, Ronaldo expressed his thoughts on his new YouTube adventure. He said, “I am very happy to make this project come to life,” said Ronaldo. “It has been in my mind for a long time but finally we have the opportunity to make it real. I have always enjoyed having such a strong relationship with fans on social media and my YouTube channel will give me an even bigger platform to do so and they will learn more about me, my family, and my views on many different subjects. I am also looking forward to sharing conversations with guests that will no doubt surprise people!”
