Morocco's national football team defeated Sierra Leone (3-1) in a friendly match today.
Moroccan attacker Youssef En-Nesyri put his team ahead in the 30th minute. Five minutes later, winger Sofiane Boufal scored again, while Sierra Leone mustered only one goal in the first half.
En-Nesyri scored his second goal ten minutes into the second half, bringing the game to a 3-1 conclusion. To date, the two sides have clashed five times, with Morocco winning four times and drawing the other.
Morocco will begin its new championship journey on January 17 when it plays its first group stage encounter against Tanzania. It will then face the Democratic Republic of the Congo on January 21 and Zambia on January 24.
