ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Updated Fixtures

Team groups and match fixtures for ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, Now UAE is ready to host Women’s T20 World Cup.

The ICC has released the New updated schedule for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024, which will be held in Dubai and Sharjah following the highly anticipated ninth edition of the ICC Womens's T20 World Cup relocation from Bangladesh to the United Arab Emirates. 

Teams: In this Women’s T20 World Cup a total of 10 teams fight for the trophy and teams are divided into two groups. Six-time champion Australia is grouped in Group A with 2020 runners-up India, Trans-Tasman for New Zealand, Asian teams Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and the event's organizers, the same people. 

Group B includes 2016 champions West Indies, South Africa, England Bangladesh, and Scotland  

Group A: Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka 

Group B: South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Scotland 

Through the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier competition, which took place in Abu Dhabi earlier this year, Sri Lanka and Scotland were able to advance to the event. 

The event will consist of four group matches for each team, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals on October 17 and 18, which will precede the Final in Dubai on October 20.  

Reserve day: In ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 semi-finals and final will both have a reserve day scheduled. 

There will be Total 23 matches played at two locations of UAE like Sharjah and Dubai. If India reached the semi-finals, they would feature in Semi-final 1 on October 17 in Dubai International Cricket stadium. 

India women’s team started her T20 world cup campaign against New Zealand on October 4 at Dubai International Cricket stadium. 

Warm-up Matches: Prior to the competition, ten warm-up matches were played from September 28 to October 1. All teams played 2 warm-up matches, all matches played 20 over each side and all 15 members performed in a match. Warm-up matches performance does not count in international match status.
