West Indies’ Squad for ICC Men’s T20I World Cup

The ICC Men’s T20I World Cup will commence in a couple of days. Participating teams are declaring their squad for the contest. West Indies is ready with theirs.

In the wake of the upcoming ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2024, West Indies has announced their 15-player squad for the tournament along with other nations like England, India, and Australia.

West Indies is co-hosting the tournament with the United States.

After displaying an incredible performance in his Test debut series against Australia, Shamar Joseph will make his T20I debut after securing a position in the squad.

Shimron Hetmyer will be returning after missing the T20I series against Aussies. The player has been performing exceptionally well with the ongoing event – the Indian Premier League.

Johnson Charles, Brandon King, and Shai Hope are the top-order batsmen. The team has plenty of options for hitters and all-rounders like Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, Powell, and many others.

West Indies will be playing their first match of the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup in the West Indies vs Papua New Guinea, 2nd Match on June 2nd, under the captaincy of Rovman Powell.
