Adelaide Strikers added a point in their victory standings, winning the match by (5) wickets with (4) balls left. The Hurricanes gave a tough fight but the Strikers managed to secure a win.

The Adelaide Strikers won the toss and chose to bowl first. The team managed to take (3) wickets before the (5th) over. The Hurricanes’ batting lineup could do much but one player, Ben McDermott stood like a rock. The opener scored (95) runs, in (61) balls, hit (7) (4s), (5) (6s), with a strike rate of (155.74), not out.

Strikers started hitting in the first over only. The openers made (20) runs in the first over. Matthew Short misses his half-century by (5) runs, caught out at 45(31) by Doodley. The team was struggling. Carey seemed like a hope for the Strikers by getting caught out by Jordan, he scored 36(25).

Just when the final over started, Overton slicked and the ball touched the bat, and landed straight into the wicketkeeper’s hands. The umpire gave not out, and Hurricanes had zero review remaining. All in one the boat was rocking in the high tides but in the end, Strikers won by 5 wickets with 4 balls left.
