IPL 2024 Orange Cap Title - Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan in the Race
The last IPL contest between Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings was a thrilling one. Both sides were phenomenal. Shubman and Sai are at the (4th) and (5th) spot.
The Orange Cap title in the Indian Premier League is currently with Virat Kohli. The second one in the race is Riyan Parag, a top contender. Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan from Gujarat Titans are sprinting towards the title, especially after the last contest between GT and PBKS.
Shubman Gill was close to scoring the first century of the IPL 2024 but there weren’t any overs left. The opener scored (89) runs off (48) balls, hitting (6) (4s), and (4) (6s) with a strike rate of (185.42).
Sai Sudharsan was equally important in adding runs to the scoreboard. He scored (33) off (19) balls, hitting (6) (4s) with a strike rate of (173.68).
Both the players have a difference of just (4) runs, Shubman Gill is leading. Talking about the difference from the leader, Virat Kohli, Gill is trailing by (39) runs.
Though Gujarat couldn’t get the victory, thanks to an incredible performance from Shashank Singh.
