RCB W - In the Finals of Women’s Premier League 2024

Tables have flipped, completely shattering the hopes of last season’s winner - MI Women. RCB W has now advanced to the Women’s Premier League 2024 finals.

The last match between RCB W and MI W was phenomenal. RCB W won by a close call. RCB W took control of the match as soon as they won the match and decided to bat first.


As per our pitch report, it is wise to bat first after winning the toss at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. RCB W did the same which resulted in their favor.

1st Innings

Winning the toss is one thing but it does not establish the winning statement. RCB W decided to bat first to get control of the game. But the openers didn’t start well. The first two wickets fell before the third over. Smriti and Devine scored (10) runs each.

Ellyse Perry - Player of the Match

Perry took the charge and scored much-needed runs. When the top batting order failed, she played responsibly. Perry scored (60) runs off (50) balls, hit (8) (4s), and (1) (6s).


It was Perry who accelerated RCB W’s scoreboard, other players weren’t able to cut the slack.


Royal Challengers Bangalore W were able to score (135) runs at a loss of (6) wickets. Hayley, Nat, and Saika took (2) wickets each.

2nd Innings

RCB W tried hard to confront the MI W openers. It went as desired. The first two wickets fell before (10) overs. Yastika and Hayley were able to score (19) and (15) respectively. Nat scored (23) runs in (17) balls.


Harmanpreet played like the Captain is supposed to - act promptly when required. She scored (33) runs off (30) balls. Amelia scored (27) runs.


Even though the batters fought hard to add runs on the scoreboard but could not stand against RCB W’s consistent bowling. Shreyanka took (2) wickets, and Ellyse, Sophie, Georgia, and Asha took (1) wicket each.

What’s Next!

We are awaiting the much-awaited match - the WPL 2024 Finals. Delhi Capitals W are going against the semi-final winners, Royal Challengers Bangalore W on March 17th.
