Young Sai Sudharsan, who scored 191 runs, and Heinrich Klaasen, who made 186 runs, are right behind Kohli. The top five is finished by leaders Riyan Parag and Shubman Gill, both of whom are great at hitting the ball.

Mustafizur Rahman is the Purple Cap winner. His 9 wickets have made him CSK's standout bowler. Rahman is facing a stiff challenge from the wily Yuzvendrachahal (8 wickets), and the speedy Arshdeep Singh (8 wickets). Khaleel Ahmad and Kagiso Rahbada are both chasing the cap with 7 wickets apiece.
