Mumbai Indians W Wins by 7 Wickets - WPL 2024

Mumbai Indians W got an easy victory against the bottom team Gujarat Giants W. Mumbai has secured their position to advance into the final rounds of WPL 2024.

Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain, hit a brutal (95) not out off of (48) balls, with (10) fours and (5) sixes. This helped Mumbai Indians come back from behind to beat Gujarat Giants by seven wickets in New Delhi on Saturday in the Women's Premier League.


Mumbai Indians needed (191) runs to win and were (191/3) after (19.5) overs. Wicketkeeper-batsman Yastika Bhatia got Mumbai Indians off to a great start. She hit eight fours and a six to score (49) runs off of (36) balls.


Before, Gujarat Giants scored (190) runs and had seven sixes and eight fours. Their captain, Beth Mooney, scored (66) runs off (35) balls.


Dayalan Hemalatha, on the other hand, scored the most with (74) runs off of just (40) balls, including nine fours and two sixes. For the second wicket, Mooney and Hemalatha scored (121) runs together, which set the stage for a big score. They did this in just (62) balls.


In the end, Mumbai Indians W won the match by (7) wickets.
