This time, the tournament is hosted by two different countries, with three locations in the United States and six in the West Indies. Ten of the 20 teams will play their debut games in the United States, with 16 matches taking place in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York.

The West Indies will host 41 matches over six different islands.

The ICC Men's Twenty20 International World Cup is divided into four groups, each with five teams.

Group B – Teams, Key Players and Fixtures

Group B includes two veteran teams and three other emerging teams that are trying to mark their presence in international cricket.

It would be fascinating to witness a clash between the oldest cricketing nations – England and Australia.

Australia Squad for T20 World Cup

ICC No.3 T20 Team does not include some experienced and important players like Steve Smith, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Jason Behrendorff, and Matt Short.

Here’s the complete Australia Squad for T20 World Cup-

Mitchell Marsh (c), Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Wade, David Warner, Adam Zampa.

The important matter to note here is that Ashton Agar is making a comeback, and this might be fruitful for the Australia cricket team. Marcus Stoinis and Cameron Green are playing for the country even after presenting an unsatisfactory performance in a major T20 League - Indian Premier League 2024.

George Bailey feels sure that the team is well prepared for the ninth season of the ICC Men's T20I World Cup.

“This is an experienced squad with extensive World Cup experience that offers a variety of structures and covers the scenarios the panel believes will factor in the West Indies with the unique nature of the venues and our opponents," Bailey said.

JJ Smit serves as Erasmus' vice-captain. This combo is promising and is likely to offer some good news for the squad during the forthcoming World Cup.

The roster does not include all-rounder Nicol Loftie-Eaton, who holds the record for the fastest T20I century in men's international cricket. Nicol hit a century in just 33 balls against Nepal.

The inclusion of Michael Jones and pacer Brad Wheal in Scotland's T20 World Cup team is a fascinating development. To compete well at the ICC Men's T20I World Cup, Scotland has assembled a roster of some of the top players.

Michael Jones and Brad Wheal have established themselves in the ICC Men's World Cup 2022 and are key members of the T20 World Cup team, however, they will not participate in the T20I Tri-Series in the Netherlands.

Richie Berrington leads the team as captain. Scotland did well in 2022 under his leadership. Recall Scotland's remarkable victory over the West Indies.

Chris Jordan, an experienced all-rounder, has also confirmed his spot in the England team. Jordan is returning to international cricket after a lengthy absence.

The top-order batting line-up will include Jos Buttler, captain of the defending champions, Will Jacks, Phil Salt, and Jonny Bairstow. Ben Duckett and Moeen Ali, both left-handed, will bat in the middle order, while Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, Adil Rashid, and Tom Hartley are set to bat down the order.

Aqib Ilyas has taken over as captain, replacing seasoned all-rounder Zeeshan Maqsood. However, you may expect significant changes to the entire team, since they are the customary ones.
