Gautam Gambhir’s Tribute to Kolkata Knight Riders

Gautam Gambhir shared a video on X with a heartwarming message to Kolkata Knight Riders and the supporters.

Gautam Gambhir has been recently appointed as the Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team, replacing Rahul Dravid who holds the credit for mentoring the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2024 Winners.

Before joining as the Head Coach of the Men in Blue, Gautam Gambhir was the Kolkata Knight Riders’ coach. Being a part of the franchise as a player and a coach, KKR holds a special place in his career timeline and respect in his heart.

Tributing to the team, Gautam Gambhir shared a video on X, thanking the team, Kolkata and its spirit!

“And now the time has come when we have to create some legacies together. The time has come when we have to write some bigger and bolder scripts. The script not with purple ink but in that blue, the treasured India blue. As we both take our fresh card we promise each other that we will never walk alone. Gambhir and KKR Connection

Gautam Gambhir has been a part of the team for a long time now – wherein he took two titles as the captain and participated in the rest of the seasons as a mentor.

The current Indian Cricket Team’s head coach acknowledged that he and Kolkata “are a story, and a team” and there are more epic stories to be told and more records to be shattered.

Gambhir has been acknowledged for his contribution to the team as he has changed every bone and muscle. In IPL 2024, Sunil Narine and Philip Salt were one of the most feared batting partnerships.

Gautam’s coaching uplifted Shreyas’ career after he was removed from the BCCI’s contract list last year. Overall, Gautam Gambhir is the one coach every team deserves, and he is ready to take the Indian Cricket Team to the next level.

What’s Next for Gautam Gambhir?

Since Gautam has been appointed as India’s head coach, he’ll be starting his career with the upcoming – India Tour of Sri Lanka. India will confront Sri Lanka in three ODIs and three T20Is. Gautam Gambhir is expected to bring drastic changes to the team because he does what he does!
