Afghanistan has announced their squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20I World Cup. With top-notch players on the team, AFG is going to perform exceptionally well.
World no.10 team as per ICC T20 rankings, Afghanistan has just announced their squad for the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2024.
There are some new additions to Afghanistan’s squad in comparison to 2022. There is Karim Janat, Mohammad Ishaq, and Noor Ahmad in the list.
The notable points-
- Mohammad Ishaq, a wicketkeeper and hitter, won a spot as well. He was on Afghanistan's team at the 2020 and 2022 ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cups.
- Rashid will be in charge of spin, with help from Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Noor Ahmad, Nangyal Kharoti, and Mohammad Nabi, who has been in the game for a long time.
- The fast-bowling trio of Naveen-ul-Haq, Fareed Ahmad, and Fazalhaq Farooq has kept their spots and now makes up Afghanistan's team.
